Sleeping is now a fine balance between trying to keep cool and trying not to let too many mosquitos in. You can close the shutters outside, but they are not designed to screen insects. The mosquitos here aren't all that bad yet, but they apparently become more prevalent later in August.

Last night I ate dinner with one of my flatmates (the other is on holiday in Mozambique) and one of her friends, and actually managed to spend the whole meal speaking Italian. This is progress.
