Went out in Nervi on Friday night. Nervi is the little town down the coast to the East. The bar was literally right on the seafront - during the day, it is a little swimming and sunbathing area. You can buy a gin and tonic and then go and drink it with your feet dipped in the Med while you watch the ferries go past. Not a bad location really. It got pretty rammed later on, and even ran out of beer (ok, so there was some Budweiser left, effectively they had run out of beer). A good place though. Worth the wait for the taxi ride home. One good thing about waiting for a taxi in Nervi is you can go to the all-night focacceria, and get foccacia baked with olives or peppers or ham. Fantastic.

We got the taxi to take us to a late night cafe near Brignole where they had just had fresh croissants delivered. Excellent way to finish the evening.
