The photos from Amsterdam are up. It was a fun weekend. The "Restaurant Croydon" was a bit bemusing though. The guy who worked there had no idea why it had that name.
The best thing about Italy so far is the food you get served with your drinks. If you order even just a couple of glasses of wine in a cafe, you're more often than not given a pile of focaccia, crisps, nuts, cheese and ham to eat. Every bar has slightly different things, like spicy breadsticks or popcorn or fresh tomatoes with herbs. And it's all free. Very civilized indeed.
