Very nippy here last night, and the trees have all decided it's winter. There's no wind, it's a perfectly clear day, but the leaves are falling from the trees like rain. It's pretty spectacular to watch.

Not much time to post as am very busy with work stuff. Have second German lesson at 5, looking forward to that, then Fiona and Alex are in town tonight. Might be visiting a spa somewhere over the weekend - Anusch, a chap in the department here is going with some friends, and Fiona also has some idea about going to bathe in Baden-Baden because that's where her grandparents met or something(!)

So, the actor playing Jesus in Mel Gibson's "controversial" new film, "The Passion of Chirst" has apparently just been struck by lightning on the set. I suspect a publicity stunt.
