Saw Fiona on her way through last night. She's finished her Calculemus visit to Saarbrücken and is driving down to look at Switzerland for a few days before going home. We went to a brew-pub place where they serve unfiltered Pilsner. Very traditional. A lot better than the stuff the main Karlsruhe brewery, Hopefner, make. Theirs is more like B*dw*iser or something. The other local brewery, Moninger, is much better.

Was good to get out for a bit. Have been working most evenings on my thesis. It's going ok but I am getting tired of working on it.
