Thanks to Megan, my bike now has an additional safety device.

Added the missing Rhein pictures and put up some pictures of the forest in the north of Karlsruhe. NB - the latter are likely to be interesting only if you like pictures of trees.

Had a great weekend, cycled to Durlach on Saturday, went out with Eduardo and two Bulgarian girls on Saturday night and then took a train to Heidelberg on Sunday where I met up with Fiona. Heidelberg is very pretty, at least in the old town area, and we had a nice day walking round the castle and eating apple strudel.

Saturday night was particulary cool because the four of us had no common language to speak. One Bulgarian spoke Bulgarian, German and English, the other Bulgarian girl just Bulgarian and French, Eduardo speaks Spanish, French and English and me English and poor French and German. So I ended up speaking a mixture of three languages, we had a very nice time but it was sort of exhausting as well.

Got to do a lot of work this week so better get on with it...
