Lebkuchen

I'm writing from München where I am about to commence the second day of the Great Lebkuchen Hunt. If you've not heard of them, Lebkuchen are particularly delicious and popular (supposedly) German christmas biscuits. The best type are made by Schmidt, a Nuremberg based company who have no less than 11 shops in Munich, all open for pre-christmas biscuit buying. Despite my best efforts yesterday (I consider myself no amateur when it comes to shopping) I was unable to find even one of the shops and returned home sadly biscuitless. I am anticipating greater success today since I have found the addresses for the shops on the web!
