Velo

The transport strike continues, and the RER B is still shut. I cycled to porte d'orleans again this morning and took a bus down to the lab, which was absolutely rammed. Just before it left, packed to bursting, three or four kids jumped on at the front door and all started shouting 'passez! il y a des places!', but nobody moved, and the driver made them get off again so she could close the doors. I think in Edinburgh everyone would have moved, just in case they had knives.

Now I have a velo non-lib: Nicolas has lent me his spare bike so I can cycle all the way home. This involves cycling across the boulevard periphique at some point, which is a bit like cycling through the M25, so should be interesting..
