12 June 2004

I can see following Euro 2004 in the Gazzetta is going to be good. For one thing, they actually report on the football, rather than on players appearing on balconies in their underpants. Also, their coverage looks set to be comprehensive to say the least. This could be important - since I don't have a TV, I guess I won't be watching most of the games.

There are signs of possible over confidence though. The front page of the paper reports that the championship starts with Portugal-Greece, and will finish with Italy-France. Hmm. They may be half right.
